Narragansett Turkey

The Narragansett turkey was bred in Narragansett Bay in the state of Rhode Island. These turkeys are known for their calm disposition, good maternal abilities, early maturation, egg production, and excellent meat quality.

  • Male turkeys are called toms, while females are called hens.
