Pink-toed Tarantula

The pink-toed tarantula is a small arboreal tarantula species where females can reach a leg span of 5 inches, while males can reach up to 4 inches.

  • Pink-toed tarantulas can throw their hairs from its body as a form of defense.
  • Females can live up to 10-12 years, while males have a shorter life span in captivity.
  • These tarantulas are nocturnal and tend to hunt at night for invertebrates, small birds and lizards.
