Pot-bellied pig

Smaller than other species of pigs, the pot-bellied pig is aptly named due to its low hanging abdomen. Usually black, they can also be white or pink.

  • Pigs have poor eyesight, but excellent hearing and sense of smell.
  • They have sensitive skin and will wallow in mud to protect it and stay cool.
  • Pot-bellied pigs are social and prefer to live in herds.
