Amarillo Zoo is proud to offer a series of entertaining and educational on-site and off-site programs for students to boast science literacy, reinforce concepts taught in the classroom, link curriculum to state standards and to bring book learning to life!  The Zoo education programs connect people, animals and their natural world and encourage you to get involved to discover wildlife and wild places.

The Amarillo Zoo is located in Thompson Park. Take Hwy 287 North off of I-40, take the N. 24th Ave. exit and go West, turn right into Thompson Park and follow the signs to the Zoo parking lot.
