Home School Safari

Home School Safari

Enhance your children’s home school curriculum by weaving some “wild encounters” into their school day. These engaging programs encourage home school students to learn about the importance of conservation by exploring the world of animals. These are both enjoyable and educational programs that feature animal presentations, touchable bio-facts and zoo tours. You and your students will have a chance to meet others from the home school community while getting a close up look at some of the Amarillo Zoo’s education animals.

Available: Tuesday – Thursday afternoons
Program length: 90 minutes
Cost: $5 per person
Min: 10
Max: 25

To book a WILD Encounters program call the Zoo’s education department 806-381-5605.
