Jackie Kingston

Jackie has been with KAMR Local 4 since October of 2009, when she signed on as host for Today in Amarillo.
Two years later, she switched from mornings to evenings, and has been anchoring alongside Andy Justus ever since.
Jackie attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon, where she graduated with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting.

Jackie strongly believes in volunteerism. She has served our community as a Loaned Executive for the United Way, and on the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition, she volunteers with the Girl Scouts, Snack Pak for Kids, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the High Plains Food Bank and the Amarillo Zoo.

When Jackie isn't telling stories and delivering the news, she loves to play with her dogs, Miles and Ladybird, cultivate her love/hate relationship with running, find Stanley Marsh 3 signs, and write--mostly about food.
