On Friday evening, June 7, the Amarillo Zoo will host Dream Night, a special free evening for children with chronic illnesses, disabilities or special needs and their families. Dream Night is an opportunity to visit the zoo in a relaxed environment with other children and families who share similar situations.
Begun in 1996 at Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands, Dream Night is now observed by zoos and aquariums in more than 30 countries worldwide. Amarillo Zoo’s personal touch on the tradition will include animal encounters and arts and crafts.
Guests of Dream Night are encouraged to bring their immediate family, meaning those residing in the same household. Valid for a maximum of 6 people.
Amarillo Zoo does not administer tickets for this event. Your child must be selected from a participating organization based on criteria the Zoo has provided to that specific organization.
