Ring-tailed lemur

Over 100 species of lemur call the island of Madagascar home and they are not found in the wild anywhere else in the world. From a species as small as a mouse to the leaping sifaka, lemurs are unique and fascinating animals. The Amarillo Zoo is home to a small group of ring-tailed lemurs and on Saturday, October 29, we'll be celebrating them with keeper chats and enrichment. Join us from 1-3pm to learn more about these amazing animals and find out how you can help save them from extinction.
